Can Gemini, Muse or other assistants reach checkout?

ARC's data is the same starting point for every assistant, whether Gemini, Meta's Muse or another. It measures whether a store lets agents reach it, read products and get to checkout. It doesn't test any assistant's app. Check the store on ARC, then read that assistant's own merchant rules.

Why every assistant starts from the same base

ARC measures the store: can an agent reach it, read a product, and get to checkout. That evidence does not change when the question names Gemini, Meta's Muse, or another assistant. ARC does not test any assistant's app.

What ARC measured for a store

Open /store/{host}. The answer block quotes that store's checkout link, UCP profile, block status and browser cart, each labelled. A missing score is not a zero.

Muse, Meta's personal agent

Muse is Meta's personal agent, powered by its Muse Wonder models. Muse Wonder is the model name. That identification is not an ARC measurement, and ARC does not test Muse or state how it shops.

Gemini

A valid UCP profile is a public file ARC can fetch. ARC does not test Gemini, so a valid profile is not a promise that Gemini will list the store.

What depends on the assistant

Partner deals and store-specific blocks sit with the assistant's maker. GeekWire reported on 20 Sep 2026 that Amazon said it had cut Meta's Muse off from shopping on Amazon.com. Not an ARC measurement. ARC does measure whether a store blocks automated agents in general, which is a different fact. See Which stores turned away ARC's check.

Questions to ask the assistant's maker

Is this merchant in your programme? Do you shop in a browser, through UCP, or both? Do you need a feed or a contract ARC cannot see? Those answers come from the company, not from ARC.

Frequently asked questions

Can Gemini, Muse or other assistants reach checkout?
ARC's data is the same starting point for every assistant, whether Gemini, Meta's Muse or another. It measures whether a store lets agents reach it, read products and get to checkout. It doesn't test any assistant's app. Check the store on ARC, then read that assistant's own merchant rules.
Does ARC rank assistants by shopping ability?
ARC's leaderboard ranks agent paths on a fixed set of 100 stores, with sample sizes, not consumer apps.
Is ARC affiliated with any assistant maker?
No. ARC takes no payment from protocol, platform or model companies.
Can Meta's Muse reach checkout at any store?
Muse is Meta's personal agent, powered by its Muse Wonder models. ARC does not test it, and does not state how it shops. Press reports say some stores, including Amazon, have blocked it. ARC shows whether a store turned away its automated check. The product name is not an ARC measurement.
