Terms of Service
LAST UPDATED 29 JUNE 2026
These Terms govern your use of ARC (the “Agentic Readiness Check”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, connecting the MCP server, or running a scan, you agree to them. If you’re using ARC for an organization, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
What ARC does
ARC runs automated AI shopping agents — modeled on the real surfaces shoppers use (ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Mode and others) — against a URL you provide, and reports whether they can complete a purchase and where they get stuck. ARC does not run the vendors’ own agents; it uses representative models to simulate them. Results are informational and not a guarantee of any outcome.
Acceptable use — authorization to scan
You may only scan websites that you own or are otherwise authorized to test. You are responsible for your use of ARC and for having the right to test any URL you submit. You agree not to use ARC to attack, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system, to infringe anyone’s rights, or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service.
Accounts
Sign-in is by one-time email link. Keep access to your inbox secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account.
Plans, billing & cancellation
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in advance via Stripe, in US dollars, and include a set number of scans per billing cycle.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current cycle.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time from your dashboard. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable; we may grant credits or refunds at our discretion (e.g. for our own system errors).
Service availability & “as is”
We work to keep ARC reliable but provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. A scan reflects what our agents encountered at a moment in time; it isn’t exhaustive and a site can behave differently for different visitors. You shouldn’t rely on ARC as your only signal for a business or legal decision.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARC and its operator won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Intellectual property
We own ARC, its software, and its reports’ format. You own the data you submit and the underlying results about your store, and may use them freely.
Changes & termination
We may update these Terms; we’ll change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you by email. You may stop using ARC at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms.
