How do I add UCP to a WooCommerce, BigCommerce or custom store?

Publish a UCP profile at /.well-known/ucp that lists what your store supports and where its checkout and catalog endpoints are, then build or install those endpoints. Some platforms offer plugins; others need custom work or a catalog-sync service. Validate the profile on ARC's free validator before telling anyone it's live.

Why non-Shopify stores lag

These rates are counted from ARC saved checks, accessed 2026-10-13. Platforms with fewer than 20 completed checks are marked too few to judge. A platform that is absent was not detected, which is not zero support.

What a minimum UCP profile contains

Publish /.well-known/ucp on your own domain. The spec asks for a version, services and payment handlers, and the registries even when they are empty. ucp.dev has the spec and samples. ARC does not copy a profile into this page.

Options: plugin, platform feature, catalog sync, custom build

Some platforms offer a plugin or a catalog-sync service. Others need a custom endpoint. Shopify's Agentic plan for other platforms is Shopify's product, not an ARC measurement. Check that platform's own docs.

Validate and test

Paste the store into the UCP validator before telling anyone the profile is live. Valid is not the same as a checkout link.

Keep it working

Recheck after theme, app and checkout changes. How to keep a store agent-ready covers the ongoing check.
